How do you think people's opinions of beauty will change a decade from now?

Just wanted to know as today's society is begging to show appreciation for no makeup but at the same time is infatuated with applying makeup everyday. #empower #confidence #beauty #makeup

Jolene,

I can only hope that as your generation grows up, you take to heart the empowerment and strength the previous generations have tried to instill in our daughters and sons.

I'd like to think that with the Woman's March, the calling out of abusers, and the smashing of glass ceilings that beauty ideals will follow. We must love who we are before others can love us.

The ever-changing landscape of beauty, shifting with the tides of big business and the search for the fountain of youth, will swing to the individual. Loving ourselves as we are. Perfectly imperfect!

Go out and conquer!

Great question Jolene.

For me personally, I think that makeup is a form of expression, constantly evolving, and art. Similar to fashion the trends will be constantly changing. I have found my own use of makeup has changed throughout my life. Most days I don't wear much, but sometimes I find that some days I do want to put some on, but it is important to realize that it is for me and no one else that I am wearing the makeup!

I think it is a very personal journey and each individual has to decide what works for them.

Viviana’s Answer

Hi Jolene ,

I believe that our world is changing into a self empowering and self love society , that either you want to wear a lot of makeup or non , you are beautiful and don´t need validation from anyone to believe so. I think we are beginning to understand that everyone is different , there is no beautiful standards and hopefully we reach the point where the value of a person is not measured by how much makeup you apply but what you give to the world .
