What courses do I need to take to become a speech therapist?

Hi Courtney! I am a speech-language pathologist (speech therapist) and I love it! I would contact the university you are going to attend and ask for an email for the speech-language pathology advisor for undergraduate students. Remember to be a speech therapist you have to complete undergrad and graduate level coursework. Some of the classes I took during undergrad were: language development, language disorders, phonetics, anatomy and physiology, articulation and phonology to name a few. Good luck! It is a great field with lots of job opportunities and a variety of patient populations!
