The best piece of advice I received as an undergrad was to major in a subject I felt passionate about. So when I found myself getting "worked up" and gesticulating wildly while talking about my Intro to Gender Studies class over dinner with friends one night, I knew I had found the right thing for me. At the end of the day, you want something you're really curious about, and something you won't get bored talking about!

I was curious and enjoyed learning about anatomy and physiology. It made the learning fun so I was inspired to learn more. I did go in a few different directions before deciding on my major which was really helpful. I learned what was fun for me and what wasn't.

Do what you love and the money will follow. if you had all the money in the world what would you do for free to occupy your time and contribute to society? That answer is the answer to your question. When you get up in the morning to go to work it shouldn't feel like you're going to "work," you should not be able to wait to get there and do what you love The you get paid, while of course a necessary part of life for most of us, should in your mind be sort of like a plus. passion
