How do i know which school to attend?
I know that when it comes to choosing a school, you're supposed to look for classes that would help you get a degree in the field you want, but other than that how do I know which school is right for me to attend?

Cody,
Picking a school is important and can be a daunting task. I've worked at a few different colleges, and let me tell you something I've learned from working with students. don't be in a hurry to leave home and head off to an expensive university. Look at your local community college, first. Here's why I say this...First, no matter what degree you decide to earn, you'll have to take certain basic classes, such as science, math, English, psychology, etc. These classes are generally transferable to a higher university, but can be earned while you save money living at home. Second, community college is much cheaper than university. More than likely you'll need student loans to get through college. Try to save everywhere you can, and don't take out the full amount you're eligible for. You HAVE TO PAY IT BACK SOONER OR LATER!! Why get yourself deep in debt before you actually have a degree to help get that first real job.
As far as picking a university, look for one that has a high graduation percentage. Look for one that offers what you want to study (the degree you want to earn) and has a reputation of placing people after graduation. A degree does no good if you can't get hired. Also, get a degree that is transferable. If you get a degree in Astrophysics, you'll limit employers that will even look at you.
Finally, keep your GPA up! It may not seem like a big deal, but it really is. So, work hard and set yourself goals that get you to where you want to be.
Good luck!
