how many tests are you required to take to become a labor and delivery nurse?
I am in 10th grade and I love babies and love helping people. I am in more medical classes next year that I am super excited about. I am interested to know if the process is super difficult?

First of all, you can do anything you put your mind to. For you to become a labor and delivery nurse
1. You have to graduate high school.
2. You have to apply to a nursing program , Speak to a counselor so you can be guided towards the next steps.
Nursing school is intense, there will be many tests that you will take, you will also have to go to clinicals (training).
3. Graduate nursing school and take an exit exam
4. Do the National exam (NCLEX)
5. Get your desired job.
Good Luck!

Great queries, but there aren't any concrete answers. First things first, you've got to wrap up your degree and ace the nursing boards. Then, depending on where you work, you'll get a ton of hands-on training and experiences - that's what we call "OJT" (on the job training). Once you've found your footing in this exciting new role, there's a whole world of courses out there for you to explore and expand your knowledge. Some might come with certifications and require a test, while others are purely for your learning. But don't sweat the tests - focus on soaking up as much knowledge as you can to build a solid foundation for your career.
Thank you!
