Misty’s Answer

I went to work as a CNA for alot of reasons. When I began in the field, I wanted to be in the field without all of the paperwork and med pass issues of nurses. I also have always has a special place for my little seniors and it is so sad to see the way some of them are treated by their own family and if I could be the kind word or hug for them that would let them know they are loved then that made every day worth it. Yes it is absolutely hard when they pass on but at the same time, being there for them at end of life is absolutely one of the most precious feelings ever. At least they know thre is someone there with them who cares.

Alyssa’s Answer

I worked as a CNA when I was in college as a way to help people, earn additional income, gain experience in a hospital setting, and ultimately determine whether or not I wanted to be fully committed to the medical field. While I ultimately did not continue down the path to becoming a nurse, I can say that my experience as a CNA was extremely valuable and worthwhile. You will get hands on experience with patients, and learn a lot about how to care for those in need.
