when trying to become a nurse, do you take medical classes after you get your bacholers?

Hi Sophia, good question. To get a bachelors degree in nursing, you must the medical related classes first. A nursing program at a college will be able to tell you the specific classes you need to take.

Usually the education does n't stop by the taking of the grade.. There will be Continuous Education program and courses to improve the person skills and to get the modern information in the speciality.. With the need to renew your registeration you will asked for activities and CME credits. "Continuous Medical Education"

It depends on what your goals and plans after your BSN are. If you intend to specialize in a particular area of nursing, and obtain a certificate, it would require additional classes in that area. If you wished to pursue a masters or doctorate in nursing, it would require more specialized classes pertaining to those degrees. You are required to do continuing education classes every year (or at least every other year) in order to maintain your nursing license, and each state has different requirements for how many hours, and what types of topics you should be learning and reviewing.

Good question, but difficult to offer a straight forward, or simple answer. If you have completed your requirements to sit for your boards, then, as a RN, no. But depending on your licensed state there will be CEUs(continuing education units), that are fulfilled fir license renewal. Many specialty areas also have specialized certifications that require classes to complete.
