Jenna’s Answer

The more open you are to opportunities, the more opportunities you will have. You make your own opportunities, and being available at the right time for the right reason (call it fate, chance, opportunity, etc.) will mean you have a lot more choices available to you. So if you're looking at a lot of choices, then you have a lot more to select from. You still have to plan and work hard: education, training, spotting potential opportunities, then putting yourself out there so you can take advantage of them.
