Hi Sample,

This is a great question! To be successful in culinary you might want to consider both culinary classes and business classes. In addition to having an interest in food and ingredients and culture, to run a business you need to understand how to run a small business.

Food handling is really important and a quick courses in food safety would be really important. There is a community college in Tulsa and a southeast campus near Muskogee that might have some useful and great culinary classes. TPT also has classes. http://www.tulsacc.edu/ and http://ictctech.com/ and https://tulsatech.edu/classes/fulltime/culinary-arts/

Volunteering or working at a restaurant is a great way to learn on the job.
