Claire’s Answer

Good GPA's are subjective both to schools and specific majors. Majors with harder classes such as chemistry or engineering will have lower GPA's than say Political Science or English. Minimums are set by specific schools but I seem to remember at my college it was 2.0

Jazmine’s Answer

A good college GPA is important for many different reasons. The most important being able to get scholarships due to having such a great GPA. Its also good when applying for different programs and internships. Most of those scholarships and internships require you to have at least a 3.0 GPA, but of course a GPA higher than this helps you stand out from the rest of your colleagues. So strive for the highest GPA you can possibly get, but don't be discouraged if its a little lower than this, you may have to work a little harder, but the opportunities are endless you just have to go looking for them.

A good GPA is super important for your future opportunities. The higher the better. I push my daughter to try for a 4.0, if she ends at a 3.5 I'm happy. Aim High!
