Hi Amy,
I am not familiar with that school. If you are not sure, go to the school, if it's near by, and talk with the Dean. Ask him or her questions about their curriculum. Also, ask about any special assistance programs, grants, and scholarships. Hope this helps.

Hello, Amy !
It's wonderful that you have a career choice and Pharmacy should prove to be a very satisfying and rewarding career for you. Saint John's University in Queens, New York has an outstanding reputation and I know some people who have attended there.
As for a major in Pharmacy, they offer a six year program for which you will obtain your Doctor of Pharmacy Degree. As a student you will get strong clinical experience and even work in underserved and disadvantaged communities throughout New York City. Their program is, of course, accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education. In addition to the Pharm D. degree in Pharmacy, they also offer a Masters and PhD in Pharmaceutical Science and a Masters in Pharmacy Administration. I would say that is a very good college for what you want.
Also, I'd like to mention on another positive note, that their acceptance rate is wonderful - 85%. Their required GPA from High School is really fair too at 3.50. They have college owned housing and you'd have a choice of co-ed, female only or disabled housing. Although living in Bronxville, you can do the half hour commute if you choose. Saint John's offers career development programs and that would help with obtaining an internship. They also offer several Health and Wellness student services, too.
The best way to discover how you feel about the college is to go for a tour or a scheduled orientation. Contact the admissions office and see when orientation tours are offered. This way, you'll be able to get a real impression of the school. I would also recommend watching the colleges' You Tube channel which I've left a link for below.
I hope that this is reassurance and was of help. I think you're considering one of the best colleges and I wish you all the best !
