Hello! Start with your high school guidance counselor, then my advice would be to check with the businesses your parents do business with to see if they offer scholarships (ie banks, dentists, etc)

Planning ahead for college expenses is awesome. Here are some recommendations on how to get more scholarships:
Begin your scholarship search soon as many scholarships have early deadlines.
Look online, talk to your school counselor, and check out community organizations for scholarship opportunities.
Apply to as many as you can, even the smaller ones—they add up!
Tailor your applications to fit each scholarship's criteria.
Craft engaging essays that highlight your personality, goals, and why you're deserving of the scholarship.
Ask teachers or mentors for letters of recommendation—they boost your application.
Keep track of deadlines and application materials to avoid missing out on funding.
Don't forget about scholarships offered by local businesses and organizations—they often have fewer applicants.
Remember, the more effort you put in, the better your chances of securing financial aid for college. Good luck—you've got this!

I encourage you to start investigating your local area, then gradually broaden your search to the state and national level. For instance, I discovered a scholarship program in my town specifically for Women Working. This initiative rewarded $2,000 scholarships to women aiming to establish careers in industries typically dominated by men. Additionally, I volunteered with Women in Film in my city, which led me to uncover more scholarship opportunities. This experience also paved the way for future projects that eventually became job opportunities. Best of luck on your journey!
