What are the financial benefits of becoming a nutritionist?
Well, I have a variety of interests and given that I love to give people advice I feel that I would be good at being someone who advises to other people what they should and should not eat. I myself watch what I eat and feel that the community as whole would benefit a lot from people in this field.

There are many areas of nutrition in which you can get involved. Most of the financial gain is in the corporate or private consulting businesses. Corporations like major food companies hire dietitians to help with food analysis (for nutrition labels), marketing, corporate wellness, or research. Private consultants see patients but charge their own rates to give nutrition advice. Depending on whether you like clinical nutrition or counseling or another area will help guide your career setting.
I work in a non-profit hospital where I'm a salaried employee. I don't get reimbursed by the number of patients I see, but rather see those that come to a specific area of the hospital and have specialized nutrition needs. It is very rewarding and the impact of my work is evident every day.
Hope this is helpful!
