Great question! I believe the best answer is to try to make yourself responsible for checking up to see that you are on track. There are many tools available online to help with time management. Seems important that rather than relying on someone else to remind you to be a "hardworking student" know that you have the ability to manage your time and your priorities. I think you will feel good each evening when you look back on your day and know you accomplished what you set out to do. Nothing wrong with asking for help, but first give it a try to answer to yourself.

DO THE EXTRAS. Sit in the front of class and participate, make your teacher/professors know who you are. Turn things in early and make your professor want to give you a good grade. Don’t miss any classes and ask questions even if you think they are dumb.
Good luck my friend!

Hello Kante,
In the dynamic and competitive world of academia today, being a diligent student is not just admirable, but also essential. It distinguishes you from the crowd and lays a solid foundation for success in both your scholarly pursuits and personal life. A diligent student is one who consistently showcases commitment, tenacity, and a robust work ethic in every facet of their educational journey. They comprehend that success is not simply handed over, but rather earned through steady effort and unwavering determination.
You can seek assistance from a family member, friend, or someone in your community to monitor your progress weekly and ensure you are on track with your academic objectives. This is known as accountability, and when we are obliged to report to someone else, we tend to strive harder or regain focus after a stumble. Your initiative in asking for help is a testament to your desire to succeed.

Hi Kante!
Congratulations!
You are taking the steps necessary toward success.
Any and ALL of your teachers at school are resources to help you and check on you. All you have to do is ask.
We as teachers wake up EVERY DAY to serve you and to help you to be successful.
The success of students is our number one priority.
EX:
If you are finding a certain class to be challenging, reach out to that teacher for help and guidance.
Communication is key and once your teacher knows you need help, s/he will do everything possible to guide you toward success.
It doesn't have to be help with academics only. For example, you may just need someone to talk to.
Ask specifically: I would like help with _____________ . Can you help me?
You are on track to success - believe in yourself and know that there are a lot of people to help you on your journey! :)
God Bless you!

Dear Kante,
Becoming a Diligent Student:
To transform into a diligent student, it's crucial to adopt efficient study routines, master time management, and sustain an optimistic attitude. Here are some practical steps to help you become more diligent and excel in your educational journey:
Establish Definite Goals: Identify your academic aspirations and divide them into smaller, achievable tasks. Clear goals will keep you driven and focused.
Design a Study Plan: Craft a study plan that assigns specific times for studying, attending lectures, finishing assignments, and revising for tests. Consistency in your study regimen is the secret to diligence.
Combat Procrastination: Procrastination can obstruct your productivity and cause unnecessary stress. Aim to tackle tasks promptly instead of delaying them.
Maintain Organization: Keep a record of deadlines, assignments, and significant dates using a planner or digital calendar. Organizing your study resources and notes can also help streamline your learning journey.
Ask for Assistance When Required: Don't hesitate to seek help from teachers, peers, or academic support services if you face difficulties or need clarification on certain subjects. Requesting help demonstrates initiative and commitment to your studies.
Keep Motivated: Discover ways to stay inspired, like setting rewards for reaching milestones, joining study groups for mutual accountability, or envisioning your long-term goals to remind yourself of the ultimate aim.
Prioritize Self-Care: Don't forget to prioritize self-care by ensuring sufficient sleep, consuming balanced meals, exercising regularly, and taking necessary breaks. A healthy body and mind are vital for sustaining high productivity levels.
