Hi there,
My understanding is yes, a Masters in Law, or LLM Degree, is usually obtained after first receiving your Juris Doctorate.

Hello! Here's some extra details about an LLM. Generally, they are designed for foreign lawyers who aim to practice in the US, or they are provided as a specialized law degree in a specific area, like tax law for instance. It's important to note that most lawyers working in the US neither possess nor require an LLM to practice in their chosen area.
