How long does it take to get a degree in Environmental Science?

Hi,
Good question...I think there are several answers to your question. There are colleges/schools out there that will offer a certificate/1yr, associates degree/2yr, bachelors degree/4yr and even a Masters/5-6years.
I would advise you to do more research into environmental careers, decide what you want to do and then decide on what education to work towards.

I think it's great that you care about the environment. We need more young people like you in this world!


Gary and Briana are correct that the length of time of your studies depends on what your objective and interests are. There are other non-science environmental career options as well. Do some research on the field of sustainability or corpoprate social responsibility and you will find other potential avenues.
