Hello! I graduated as a Computer Engineer back in 2019. I tend to get asked the question for the difference between Computer Science and Computer Engineering. As an engineer, you learn a lot more about the hardware behind software engineering. I had to learn about how a CPU is constructed as well as the Software engineering pieces that run on top of the Hardware. CS focuses more on the coding/software engineering aspect.
If you are debating which to major in, I would recommend CS for a Software Engineering career. However, if you want more flexibility in your career, a CE degree looks awesome on a resume. I am currently in a technology consulting role I could have gotten with either degree, but there is some prestige that comes with a true engineering degree.
