Ultrasound technician is a great field and very stable at that. It really varies based on the location and setting of where you are working. If you have prior experience, it can also be an added plus in being offered more as a Ultrasound Tech.
Being able to afford a home, have 2 car payments and a family is all wonderful personal goals to have but again will come in to play with how well you budget your expenses no matter the amount you do make.
Being honest to yourself about what you can afford and living within your means is very important in being able to accomplish multiple financial goals at once.
