Hello Jems, I am studying at College and I have a class in Marketing, I have learned a lot. I have a small dessert business and that's why I started studying Business Administration, there is a book called Marketing by Grewal/Levy, I have learned a lot from that. I had an assignment to do on my marketing plan. That book has helped me understand many qualities about how to implement marketing for my business.

Marketing is all about interpersonal skills. As long as you have people by your side you can sell anything. So market research is very important. You can sell anything if you research on its market and find out the problems the people are facing and then tell how your product can work better for them.

I would recommend talking to people in your local community, such as small businesses. Everyone is in marketing of some form and they have life lessons you can learn from. Go into those opportunities prepared to ask questions about what has made them successful. A marketing internship is another good opportunity to learn different areas of the field.
