You have two things--a writer and an artist. First decide on the hero. You need to develop the main character. That means make him or her a human being with human traits. Than develop the character as a super hero. What makes him a super. What powers does he have? Is he fully human? Once you have develop the characteristics of the character than list 3 things he likes and three things he doesn't like. Who is his family?
Once you create the hero than think about what situations can happen to him or his family or the community. Give him an opponent.
All heroes have flaws or weaknesses and so does the opponents

Dillon’s Answer

Research how to write a script in the correct format, write a script no matter how long or short, show it to your friends and familly or anyone who would read it, listen to their feedback, and do the whole thing again.
Don't overcomplicate the process, the way you get better at anything is through doing it a lot and learning what works and doesn't work. And for a bonus, if you have a script you really love, find a director to direct it using the website Backstage (or direct it yourself).

Additionally, taking courses in screenwriting, directing, and editing can help you develop the necessary skills for creating compelling films.

Hello Damien! It's exciting to see your newfound passion for film writing. To kickstart your journey, I recommend diving into the world of online screenplays, particularly those of your favorite comic book movies. You can easily find these on platforms like ScriptSlug or the Internet Movie Script Database (IMSDB). Pay close attention not just to the narrative structure, character progression, and underlying themes, but also the unique format of screenwriting. Reading a script for the first time might seem daunting, but don't rush. Take it slow and keep reading. Gradually, your brain will get accustomed to the screenplay format.

For more information on the screenwriting format and how to correctly incorporate it into your own writing I suggest purchasing The Hollywood Standard. This book is a screenwriter's best friend. Any question you can think of, this book has the answer.

I hope this helps, and best of luck!

Sincerely,
Aiden
