Elizabeth’s Answer
Being dismissed from a job or expelled from college is generally negative, regardless of the particular reason. In my experience, common causes for college expulsion include academic dishonesty, like cheating, or consistently poor performance leading to a low GPA. When it comes to job termination, it's more understandable if it's due to company-wide layoffs or restructuring. However, if a specific misconduct leads to your dismissal, it might pose a challenge when seeking new employment.

I agree with everything Elizabeth said and want to add another reason, one that is potentially even worse for getting kicked out: misbehavior.
What I mean by that is -- don't do anything mean-spirited to your classmates or colleagues like bullying or harassment. Don't get carried away at parties or social situations where you can hurt yourself or others. Don't post anything online on social media that is derogatory or insensitive to other people.
I don't think any of these apply to you, but I know of people who have been disciplined because of these actions in school or work settings. They reflect poorly on your reputation and can lead to being kicked out of school or fired from a job. And then you could risk having that reputation follow you to future work settings. So be mindful of your actions; you should definitely have fun at school and work, but not at the expense of others!
