Paul’s Answer
Many, many years ago I read somewhere that Radiologists were the highest paid.
Today I think the Orthopedic Surgeon makes the most. Up there would also be the specialties of internal medicine (Cardiologists, Oncologists, Gastroenterologists, etc).
If you do go down this path towards the medical field, remember that while these professions make a lot of money, they also cost a lot of money and time to reach the level where you can be earning the high pay.
I would recommend you not only consider pay when deciding what field, but also think about what you really want to accomplish in your lifetime. If you want to become a doctor, do it because you want to help people, the money will follow.
