Hey Grace,
Although I did not personally take the MCAT, from experience of a few friends who have, they have said time management is key to the exam. I would also recommend allotting enough time of studying prior to testing to prepare for the exam.

I thought the MCAT was difficult. It's been a while since I took the exam but I would recommend seeing if you can obtain some old tests as practice.
Was there a specific section you found to be especially difficult?

Hi
MCAT can be overwhelming a lot of times for students. According to me, the hardest part is time management. If you manage your time effectively you'll be good to go.

Your concern is absolutely valid. However, remember that your test-taking ability plays a significant role. There are individuals who effortlessly ace standardized tests with minimal preparation. Then there are others who require detailed guidance for even the simplest tasks. Most of us fall somewhere in between, meaning we need to put in some effort to prepare for the exam.
One effective strategy is to get hold of past exams and practice diligently. This not only familiarizes you with the exam format but also helps you understand the type of questions asked. Concentrate more on your weak areas rather than the ones you're already good at.
It's important to note that the MCAT often recycles questions from past tests over the years. So, understanding the question is just as important as knowing the answer. Also, remember that your MCAT score is just one aspect of your application, so there's no need to lose sleep over it. Keep a positive mindset and believe in your abilities. You've got this!
