Hello, Janhvi !

Event Planning is a very exciting field of work so it's great that you are thinking about your future career and where you should take it. Unfortunately, to know the country that has the most opportunities for Event Planning would mean that someone would have to know every country and their scales of events and similar activities and that would be impossible to know. Since I am in America, I can address the opportunities for event planning in the United States, but you will first have to decide the level of relocation you'll want to do and then focus on specific cities or nearby countries or far away countries. You can also do some first hand research on the selected countries you'd like to live in, then pinpoint the actual cities as urban hubs will probably have more events, more people and be better for your chosen career.

In the United States, there are fairly good opportunities for hospitality and event planners. You can work on conventions, product launches and exhibitions, expos, fairs. You can plan music, dance and other types of entertainment and performance. Scouting locations for events, arranging the catering for events, being involved with social media and advertising and planning for wedding, corporate and non-profit events. There is opportunity to do this in the major cities and medium sized cities in the U.S.

You can consider making your own opportunities by having your own service business and working for yourself. Read some Event Planner employment notices on employment websites and get an idea of how many openings are in certain cities in your country. Try searching these positions in other country's major and medium sized cities, too. If there aren't many positions in a particular city or country by doing this, it could indicate which places do not have much opportunity. If you decide to open your own event planning service, advertise and get listed in trade directories. Some directories that you can register your services at for your country are Wedmegood, Eventspedia and Smart Scraper. Also register on Linked In. I have left some links for you below of Directories to list your service as well as a link to a webpage that can guide you on how to create your own event planning service.

Also, there is no way to tell which country is "the best" for obtaining a Masters Degree in Event Planning. That would be a matter of you doing first hand research because you will want to choose the college that you discover would suit you for exactly what you'd want to do. If you do a search for worldwide colleges for Masters in Event Planning, the results will show all colleges in the United States, but you should see what your local universities offer and which colleges in other countries offer Event Planning Masters Degrees before you make a quick decision. Your country calls the study Event Management and there are some schools to consider. Research the programs at Amity University in Noida, Chitkara University in Patiala, PIMR Indore, NIMS University in Jaipur, and MIT World Peace University in Pune. There are also Gems B School in Bangalore, Guru Nanak University in Hyderabad, SAGE University in Indore, Adam's University in Kolkata, and Whistling Woods International in Pune offers a Post-Graduate Diploma. So there are some to consider in India before making plans to make an international move. If the move is definitely in your plans, research the country and its' cities and give it careful thought.

Do feel free to return here with any specific questions you may have. I hope that this is helpful and I wish you all the best planning for your Masters Degree in a fabulous career choice !
