The field of Software Engineering very challenging but also very rewarding. The feeling of taking a job from inception to completion is an awesome feeling but is not always easy. Some traits that may be useful are:
. be patient - this is a complicated field
. don't be afraid to make mistakes. Making mistakes is something that we all do and you need to be able to learn from it
. Do not try to learn everything. Focus on an area - i.e. front-end, back-end, AI, industry that is of interest
. Talk with friends, classmates, colleagues.
. You need to be self motivated and results oriented
. be patient - this is a complicated field
