Hello, Willow !
Congratulations on having the special opportunity to go to England for your Masters Degree ! Yes, there are some scholarships for you as a Masters student, but I don't know the start date and deadline for them . You can find that out online by going to websites.
There are the Chevening Scholarships that are for international students. GREAT Scholarships are for students from fifteen countries and are for various majors. The Marshall scholarship is for American students who graduated in the U.S. with their Bachelors within the last three years and have a GPA of 3.7 or higher. British Council Scholarships are offered to students for a Masters Degree in any subject.
You should be able to apply for these and if you had mentioned what your major will be, I would have looked for more. Do not hesitate to do a search online for "scholarships for international students in England studying Masters Degree in ....." and put your major in. It is very much a time consuming venture seeking scholarships, but they will help out a lot while you are in your Masters program.
There are also American scholarships given to Masters students who study abroad. Some of these are (and you can search them online) the Fullbright Program, Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program, Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) Program, Boren Award for International Study, National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program, Harry S. Truman Scholarship, USAID Study Abroad Scholarship, Churchill Foundation Scholarship, Kanders Churchill Scholarship in Science Policy. These are just some of the American scholarships you can apply for but there are more.
I know it's a lot of reading, but see if there is a Student Center on campus. Once you are enrolled there, if there is a Student Center you can seek more scholarships there as well as at the academic counseling office. I hope that this is helpful in giving you a start and I wish you all the best !

Hi Willow,
Scholarships can be offered in broad categories and also very granular ones. Be as specific as possible when you search, but keep the big picture in mind at the same time.
Michelle has given you excellent suggestions. Work through every one of them!
I would add to also try something closer to home. Sometimes organizations in your town or one nearby offer scholarship to local students. Women's clubs and local business organizations come to mind first. You can check with your nearest Chamber of Commerce to find them. Or, again, a specific online search may uncover them.
Also check at the regional or state level.
Large companies sometimes offer scholarship support to their employees or their employees' children.
I also suggest you get organized. Approach it like a job. Keep a spread sheet of what you've applied for, dates, what responses you've received. Polish your vitae or resume and keep it in a useable and easily accessed file. Prepare one or two essays and statements that you can use or edit as needed. If you've missed a deadline for something promising, earmark it for next year (put it on your calendar immediately).
This is an exhausting and often frustrating process. Hang in there!
