Great question, and the answers are quite straightforward! Firstly, just be you. Look after your patients in the same way you'd like to be looked after. Engage in conversations with them and tackle their worries. Always be transparent and keep updating your knowledge. Most importantly, always maintain a respectful honesty. Remember, your team is crucial to your practice, so show them respect and a bit of extra appreciation. They should know you value them. Any top-notch provider understands that success is always a team game.
Thank you, this is really helpful.

Hey Jamylah,
Some ways to be a successful in dermatology would be communication, making sure you are explaining what you are doing to your patient, checking in on how they are doing through out the procedure, treating them as if you were a patient and being respectful but bubbly to help make them feel comfortable. Being a team player is also a good skill as you have a team you work with daily and offering help to coworkers if you have free time as well as encouraging your colleagues on difficult days.
