Steve’s Answer

I have seen a lot of entrepreneurs start their first business at a young age. They learned by trial and error, seeing where they needed to learn more and then learning it. Sanya’s Answer

Hi Nikole, aspiring to become an entrepreneur is an exciting and ambitious goal! Focus on building a strong foundation in business, finance, and communication skills. Take classes in economics, business, marketing, and technology to understand market dynamics and digital tools. Engage in extracurricular activities like business clubs, debate teams, or entrepreneurship programs to develop leadership and problem-solving skills. Seek opportunities for hands-on experience through internships, part-time jobs, or starting small projects to learn about managing a business. Additionally, explore different industries and interests to find a niche that excites you. Identifying a niche allows you to specialize and address specific market needs, giving you a competitive edge. Networking with mentors and attending entrepreneurial workshops can also provide valuable insights and guidance on your journey.

Bonnie’s Answer

Hello Nikole, embarking on the entrepreneurial journey can indeed require effort. However, the industry you choose to venture into can offer its own unique advantages and challenges, like market saturation and overhead expenses. My strong suggestion would be to first gain experience by working for someone already established in the industry you're drawn towards. This will allow you to learn the intricacies of the business from the inside out. Once you've gathered enough knowledge and insight, you can confidently spread your wings and launch your own venture. Remember, every step you take brings you closer to your dream. Wishing you all the success in the world!

Nikolaos’s Answer

Hi Nikole!

Sanya and Bonnie have already provided many extremely valuable advices. If I could add something to the conversation it would be the importance of soft skills. I would encourage you to find courses around leadership, teamwork, negotiation and emotional intelligence.
These are essential for managing teams, dealing with clients, and building relationships with partners and investors. Additionally, try to stay up to date by reading books, listening to podcasts, and following blogs about entrepreneurship and business. Staying informed about industry trends and learning from successful entrepreneurs will provide you with valuable insights and inspiration.

Best regards,
Nikolas
