Thank you for your question. I can see you have identified a number of areas you would like to improve. Majority of these are related to time management. Firstly, you have to find a good time management tool to help you, eg Google Calendar, MS Outlook, phone calendar, etc
Below are my suggestions:
1. Put down the time you need to attend classes
2. Assign some time every day on your assignment, projects, etc and do revision on the material covered in the day
3. Make sure you have enough time to sleep and do some exercise
4. You can allocate some time for leisure and friends & family gathering
5. You may need assign more time for revision before assessment
On the other hand, regarding financial management, you need to distinguish below:
What you need - it is the expense vital to you, eg school fees, transportation, meals, etc
What you want - it is you buy what want which is nice to have, eg jewellery, accessories, trendy sneakers, stylish school bag, etc
You have to ensure you spend on what you need and save some money first before you consider to buy what you want.
Hope this helps! Good Luck!
May Almighty God bless you!

I think the main way to get ahead on life is to decide on goals for yourself. What a you want out of life? Without the first step everything else is going to take you around in circles. Write your life goals down and revisit to weekly. Are you working on them. Whatever is is highest priority take out your supplies the night before. If you want to to work in out in the morning have your gym clothes by your bed. Study? Set your most important reading first. Then you have accomplished something towards your goals each day.
Thank you, this is amazing! I really needed it.

Jasmin, I had these same concerns and questions. While I have several tips and tricks, I’d like to talk about what I consider my “corner”. The “corner” needs a minimum of 3 different people. You can have more but there are 3 roles that need to filled in your corner.
The coach, the mentor, the sponsor.
Everything in my life improved when I rounded out my corner. (Word choice was intentional) and it’s most successful when each role is filled with a different person. Let’s break it down,
The coach can be your boss. It’s immediate on the spot guidance to make you better. They are willing to be direct. But they have love for you even if it’s tough love.
The mentor wants to provide solid advice normally for longer term impact. Do not have this be your boss. There should be nothing to gain for this advice so a 3rd party is okay. It’s okay to ask for a mentor.
The sponsor is the one that says your name in the room you aren’t invited to. You may not know you have a sponsor. I had a sponsor I never met but they knew enough about me to bring me up for an opportunity when I wasn’t around. You don’t ask for this. It just happens. It happens by being great at what you do.
So this was key for me literally check all the boxes you mentioned. It has led to more focus, more income, more happiness. All of that.
So if you have already have a mentor start there. You have a coach, you just have to be open minded.

Hi Jasmin,
I am thinking that discipline comes first on your list for a reason. And this reason is that cultivating discipline, is a major factor in achieving all your other targets. To build on your discipline you can start by setting clear, achievable goals and creating a routine that you stick to, even when it's challenging. From there I would tell you thay improving your focus and study habits requires minimizing distractions, breaking tasks into manageable chunks, and using tools like the Pomodoro Technique to maintain concentration(please research about it I think you'll find it interesting). When it comes to money management you can always set up ways to track your expenses, create a monthly and annual budget, and prioritize savings if and when it's possible. Staying consistent involves building habits that reinforce your goals and keeping a positive mindset even when progress seems slow - and usually we all face those kind of challenges. Making intelligent choices can be supported through continuous learning, seeking advice from mentors, and weighing the long-term consequences of your decisions. To get tasks done efficiently, prioritize your tasks, set deadlines, and hold yourself accountable. Furthering your education can be as simple as taking online courses, attending workshops, or reading regularly on topics that interest you, so research about what excites you and don't be afraid to learn something completely new! Last but not least, exploring multiple streams of income in the future could involve multiple areas such as investing or developing a marketable skill. Remember, the journey to success is personal and unique, so be patient and persistent with yourself and all the answers will gradually start to be uncovered!
Hope that helps!
Best regards,
Nikolas

Hello Jasmin, remember that there are no limits to what you can achieve, and I can see that your ambitions are strong and well-directed! My advice would be to make the most of the resources around you to help you progress towards your goals. If you're keen on increasing your income, for instance, explore different avenues that spark your interest in earning more. If you're also aiming to improve your study habits at the same time, identify routines that align with your lifestyle, like studying at a library or a coffee shop. Wishing you the very best on your journey!
Thank you so much, Bonnie!

You have asked a very interesting yet difficult question.
Getting ahead in life is generally targeted at the material aspects such as financial and professional successes. Your list of actionable items are all ingredients of financial and professional successes.
These actionable items can be distilled into a general principle: seeking continuous improvement of yourself.
That said, self-improvement should go beyond the material aspects. There should be a spiritual side to it too. Keep the following saying in mind when you are fighting to get ahead: And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?

Hey Jasmin,
There are a ton of great answers to this question! Some I thought of are:
- The golden rule, treat people how you want to be treated.
- Have a broader perspective on your choices. Investments made, financial or figurative, today will pay off in the future, so lay that groundwork today.
- Be actively curious and try new things, even if you're afraid at first. Growing and learning will help you get a leg up on your peers who become stagnant and complacent.
I hope that helped Jasmin!
