hat do you find most rewarding about the medical field, specifically nursing?
Was the process worth where you're at now? I'm head strong at the fact that I'd never want to spend my life doing a career that didn't teach me anything or benefit my life in some way.

The process of becoming a nurse takes a lot of hard work and dedication to learning. Nursing school is not meant to be easy as you will become responsible for persons' lives and you need to be prepared for that.
The hard work was definitely worth it, all of it. Nursing has so many options once you complete the schooling part. And there is always something new to learn. As a nursing educator, I have always been afraid of the student or nurse who portrays themselves as someone who knows it all, as those persons are not open to learning and criticism. Nursing and medical science is continuously evolving as we identify safer, more efficient, more cost effective and better healing options for our patients. This requires us to be open to new ideas and to be able to tweek what we do.
If you ever become bored in one area of healthcare, try another or go back to school. You can start as a nurse with an Associate's Degree and continue your education through a Doctorate Degree. MANY MANY options are available to you as a nurse.
Good luck!!!!!!!

The journey, duration, and hard work you put in are absolutely worthwhile. If you're thinking about a career in medicine - as a doctor, physician assistant, and so forth, or even nursing - remember, these professions demand a lot of dedication. However, the rewards you reap from your hard work will be immensely satisfying in the end. If you have any other inquiries about a profession that piques your interest, don't hesitate to ask.
Wishing you the best of luck!
