path to attend ADN program after high school

I am searching for a school that provides an ADN program around northern California, but I felt they are mostly requesting to graduate from LVN.
Is there any ADN program that I can attend after graduating high school?

I'm sorry that search showed you only LVN options, but you ABSOLUTELY can get directly into an ADN Program. You will need prerequisites, so make sure your are taking sciences and math in high school to prep you for the college courses.
Here is a link to accredited schools throughout California as acknowledged by the California Board of Registered Nursing. I like this resource as it shows a lot of information, including estimated cost in attending that school.

When you find a school that interests you, look on the school's website to get more info on prerequisites for their Program.

Good luck!!!

Hello there, Lisa!

Absolutely, you have the opportunity to dive straight into an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program right after your high school in the beautiful Northern California. Esteemed institutions such as Sacramento City College, College of San Mateo, and Santa Rosa Junior College are there to welcome you with their ADN programs. The best part? You don't need an LVN license to get in!

Generally, these programs ask for prerequisites like biology, chemistry, and math. But don't worry, you can fulfill these either in high school or during your freshman year in college. Just make sure to double-check each school's specific needs and get your application in early. Remember, nursing programs can be quite popular, so it's best to stay ahead of the game.
