Daniil’s Answer

I was in your situation when I was in high school and here is what helped me:
1)understanding why you need/want better grades
2)try different studying techniques
3)prioritize your academic performance over everything else
4)make friends with people who have better grades than you - this will encourage you to work harder to be on par with them

Rebecca’s Answer

Thank you for your question. Firstly, you need to identify a time management tool to help. E.g. Google Calendar, MS Outlook, phone calendar, etc.
Below are my suggestions :
1. Put down the time you need to attend classes everyday
2. Allocate time everyday on your assignment and project. Review the material covered in the class on the day. Ask the teacher if you have any question.
3. Make sure you have enough time to sleep and do some exercise
4. Assign more time for revision before assessment
5. Form study group with other classmates that can help you to deepen our understandings.
Hope this helps! Good Luck!
May Almighty God bless you!

Hello Julia,

Boosting your academic performance and giving high school your all are crucial for laying a solid foundation for future triumphs. Let's explore some strategies that can help you reach these objectives:

1. Define Your Goals: Clearly outline what you aspire to achieve in your academic journey. Establish SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound) goals for your grades and overall high school performance.

2. Develop a Study Routine: Craft a study timetable that assigns time to each subject based on its complexity and your grasp of the content. Regular study habits can keep you on course and prevent last-minute panic.

3. Stay on Top of Things: Utilize a planner or digital apps to keep tabs on assignments, exams, and due dates. An organized approach can help you manage your time efficiently and decrease the risk of overlooking crucial tasks.

4. Be Engaged in Class: Participate actively in class discussions, pose questions, and jot down notes during lectures. This active involvement can enhance your comprehension and keep you attentive during lessons.

5. Reach Out for Assistance: If you find yourself struggling with a certain subject or topic, don't hesitate to seek help from your teachers. They are there to aid you and can offer extra resources or guidance to boost your performance.

6. Form a Study Group: Studying alongside peers can be advantageous as it enables you to debate concepts, test each other, and gain diverse insights on the content. Just ensure the study group remains focused and fruitful.

7. Prioritize Self-care: Ensure you're getting sufficient sleep, consuming nutritious food, and exercising regularly. Looking after your physical and mental health is vital for academic achievement.

8. Limit Distractions: Identify potential distractions such as social media, TV, or video games that might be eating into your study time. Cultivate a study space that's free from disruptions.

9. Reward Your Achievements: Celebrate small wins along the journey to keep your spirits high. Treat yourself for hitting milestones, like improving a grade or finishing a tough assignment.

10. Reflect on Your Journey: Regularly review your study habits, grades, and overall performance. Spot areas for enhancement and tweak your strategies accordingly.

11. Most importantly, be present! Regular attendance is a significant aspect of success in both school and work life!

Remember, enhancing your grades and treating high school with the seriousness it deserves demands commitment, perseverance, and steady effort. By putting these tips into practice and staying true to your goals, you're paving the way for academic victory.

Best of Luck!
