Hi Hannah, what environmental problems are you most interested in solving? Carbon emissions, water pollutions, waste management... the list goes on. I would suggest focusing on one problem, and do something about it and document your actions in social media.
For example, a Dutch teen Boyan Slat created an engineering solution to collect plastic waste in Pacific ocean. As another example, I personally follow a 'trash walker' who goes around NYC to find treasure in garbage and show how wasteful some people/businesses are. I also follow influencers who thrift and recycle materials, or share sustainable consumption lifestyles.
Just use your create mind and focus on the sustainability topics that you are most passionate about!
Best, Jiajia

Hi Hannah!
Thanks for your question. I think it is admirable that you want to use your online presence to drive positive change for the environment.
As some of the other folks have mentioned there are so many interesting areas of content that can be created to provide environmental education/activism using social media.
A couple of ideas below:
1. Food Waste & Sustainable Eating habits
2. Purchasing food locally
3. Promoting and recapping major environmental events/policy changes
4. Discussing sustainability cleaning practices in the home
An awesome climate activist and storyteller on Instagram is @relauren. She does an awesome job of highlighting challenges and offering a way that her viewers can take action.
I think the most important is to stay true to yourself! Ask yourself:
1. What do I care about? (is it gardening, fashion, food, eating, shopping, climate policy, etc.)
2. Ask yourself what you are doing personally that is sustainable for these topics?
3. Make a video about it and share it with the world!
Thanks for being a climate warrior, the world needs more people like you!
