How can I earn money in fashion design
How to earn money in fashion design and art, also finance, biology.

As evidenced by your question, you’ve got many talents and there’s lots of different career choices that would bring you enough money for a pretty comfortable lifestyle.
Of course, there are quite lucrative careers that require some serious math skills. Take the data science, for example, or accounting, or computer science, or architecture, just to name a couple of the most obvious choices. Yes, the math itself becomes just a tool in achieving your professional goals, but isn’t it the joy of it? Letting your talents serve a purpose, while earning money for yourself.
If you wanted to apply your math skills to a career in fashion, I’d suggest you take a look at the Production side of the industry. There are professionals who determine the quantities of the materials needed for producing any given lot of garments, including fabrics, trims, specialty finishes, etc. The knowledge required to perform such jobs demands great 2D and 3D thinking, in addition to meticulous calculations, and communication with suppliers and factories (mostly by email, as the industry is very international these days)
A Production Manager in the fashion industry must have some knowledge in economics, garment construction and sewing, to know materials and their properties, to understand logistics and scheduling, and also be able manage people on the team. There’s a number of great Fashion schools in Philly that offer bachelor degrees in Art and in Business. You could start exploring your options there.

The fashion world is a very creative and exciting place and since you have an interest in it, it's great that you are starting to explore the industry ! The first rule of thumb is that motivation should not come from a feeling of financial insecurity, rather it will have to be your first love, something that you are passionate about and something that you are willing to exert discipline and a lot of time to. You must also be willing to have ups and downs just as so many people do in the creative and visual fields of work. Just thinking about how you can make money on a basic level, however, you would need to get the education and learn whatever field you want to enter so that you are qualified to obtain employment.
I am not sure exactly what you want to do with your interests, but your first step would be to choose one to focus on. Attend college and major in the interest. Obtain a degree and through your academic experience, you will learn how you earn - by getting a career job - the salary. You have to work to earn.
You may think it may be hard to obtain work that uses your Math skills, but that's because you may have heard that or you haven't studied for it yet and tried. Again, with all career jobs, you will find out what the company offers when you interview with them, so thinking about salary and wanting to hear that it will be a breeze and you will be guaranteed a huge salary for your first job is not a truthful way to approach it. My cousin was a mathematician for decades and he spent most of his several decade career as a High School Math teacher in a major city and did quite well. No one knows their future, but his passion was numbers so he had a very satisfying and well-paying career. Do not compare yourself with other people or go by what others may say because you may be missing out with starting a valuable education and career for something that you really love. Follow your passion, not the paycheck. And no, you can't work in an industry STUDYING Math, rather you will need to be an expert in Math to work in something needing that expertise. You STUDY Math in college. Decide how far you'd want to take it as the more advanced degree you have in Math, the opportunities may be greater.

What is the fashion industry and the finance, art and science communities like ? Would you consider moving to a city that has increased opportunities for whichever career you choose ? What formed your impression that there is a difficult job market ?
Most of all, do not be discouraged. All careers are a process that take time. Ask yourself what do you want and what are you willing to do to obtain it. Explore careers online and through videos on You Tube. Take advantage of all resources offered to you at your high school, too. I would also advise that you look for a part time job so that you have a paycheck coming in and that may alleviate worry about future finances because you'll have some current money. There are many options for you to set time aside to explore. You can even do a search online for careers that pay the most if it is the money that you are interested in.
