Shashank’s Answer

Hello Adams!

It's truly inspiring to see your eagerness to discover your talents and passions. Remember, you're already excellent at many things, and there's a whole world of skills waiting for you to master! Your unique life experiences and personal journey have equipped you with a distinctive skill set.

Now, if you're considering a more systematic way to identify and develop your skills, here's a suggestion. Begin by jotting down activities you enjoy or skills you aspire to learn. Reflect on whether you've already made strides towards mastering these skills. If not, don't worry! There are plenty of resources like Google, community groups, and friends that can help you learn and understand what you need to do to acquire these skills.

Above all, don't forget to enjoy the journey. Having fun and taking pleasure in the process will not only make it more enjoyable but also accelerate your progress towards your goals.

Rebecca’s Answer

Thank you for your question. I am glad to hear that you would like to advance your skills.
Below are my suggestions :
1. Think about what you have interest, e.g. your hobbies, favorite subjects, etc. and identify the related career
E.g. If you like music, would you like to be a musician, singer, musical artist, music composer, music producer, etc.
If you have interest in maths, would you like to to be an engineer, accountant, banker, financial analyst, maths teacher, etc.
2. Find out more on these careers and determine what you have interest
3. Speak to someone who are working in these careers. Seek guidance from your mentor, school career counsellor, your parents, etc.
4. Shortlist 1-2 careers you would like to pursue
5. Focus on the skills required for these careers. Explore any courses (e.g. colleges courses, etc.) you can advance your career
Hope this helps! Good Luck!
May Almighty God bless you!
