I started my career in advertising agencies, and it was an incredible learning experience. It gave me valuable insights into the industry, shaped my work ethic, and helped me build lifelong friendships. However, agency life may not be for everyone. The hours can be long, and the environment is fast-paced and high-pressure, especially when deadlines are tight.
That said, agencies are an excellent place to start your career. They expose you to a variety of clients, creative challenges, and dynamic teamwork, which can build a strong foundation for your skills. It will be exhilarating and exhausting and I encourage you to write down a vision of what you'd like your work life to look like. Then, as deadlines stack up and pressure creeps in, you remind yourself of what you want and hold yourself to that. Nobody can create balance but you so draw boundaries where you'd like them to be. I spent years at an agency where I said yes to everything and worked crazy hours and when I left and went to a similar agency, I drew boundaries and stuck to them - and I succeeded just as much. You need to work really hard when you're at it, but then make time to get the space and relaxation you need to do a good job.

Hello Abdullah! I started my career at an advertising agency. It is fun, creative and exhilarating. It is also a lot of work hours, with many pressures of deadline and performance. It is a competitive industry that moves quickly. You will learn much. The starting out pay wasn't great. It was one of my best experiences in my career. Good luck!!
