Are you asking if being a nurse is difficult or becoming a nurse is difficult?
Generally you want to ensure you do well in your classes to maintain a good GPA to get into a nursing program as it can be competitive. You want to ensure you especially do well in your math and science courses. The minimal qualifications needed to become a practicing registered nurse (RN) are an associate degree (ASN) or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), and passing the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) for Registered Nurses. The minimum amount of time needed to become a practicing nurse would be the 2 - 3 years of coursework associated with an associate degree in nursing. A bachelor’s degree takes 3 - 4 years of coursework. If the cost of college is prohibitive for you I would recommend getting your associate's degree first as you can start making nursing money faster and go back for your bachelor's. If this isn't an issue for you I would honestly recommend the BSN as splitting up the degrees takes more time overall than if you just get the BSN to begin with. There are many different roles a nurse can hold so if there are specific things about being a nurse you are concerned will be difficult you can learn about different jobs to see what may interest you.
