Hello, Dominic !
Thanks for coming here to ask this question because it is daunting that your college has given you no indication as to where to audition or what steps to take after graduation. Part of being a music student is heavy networking where one is introduced to opportunities. Sorry you've not had a beneficial path and full services from your college, but we can help you here !
You will have to do several things in order to seek work as a musician. First you're going to need to submit demo recordings of your music, like cuts of different examples of you playing your instrument. You'll have to research the places online, but some of them that you can send demo recordings to are record labels, platforms like Groover, recording studios, and online platforms such as Submit Demo.
I realize that you live over 330 miles away from the closest hub for the entertainment industry so you can consider moving to Hollywood or exploring your local area. But San Francisco is only 30 miles away so you can explore opportunities there. Register and be seen in musician directories such as CVSF (link is below), you can try Craigslist, Bandfinder Directory (link is below), and Gigsalad Directory for which I have left a link for you below.
The American Guild of Musical Artists is an organization that provides audition information and you can consider becoming a member. I have left a link to their website for you below.
I would recommend that you return here to ask specific detailed questions because no one can really tell you how to secure a job as a musician. It's a matter of networking and auditioning and getting to know as many people in the business as you can so opportunities open up. Do return here if you have any specific questions that are connected to this career. I wish you all the best !
