As Charanpreet mentioned, internships are a great way to connect with employment opportunities. Some colleges will require students to complete an internship as a requirement of the program or requirement for graduation. However, even if that's not true of your school, you can still (and should) pursue internship opportunities. Many employers will post about internship opportunities on their web pages, so if there are companies you're interested in working for, check there. Fall is a popular time for employers to advertise and hire for summer internships.
Many colleges will also host career or job fairs. These job fairs allow you to visit with recruiters who are looking to hire students for internship or entry-level opportunities.
Also, if your college has a career services or student employment services office, they can be an excellent resource for your job search. They will often provide services such as resume reviews and interview preparation, and many will also have ways of helping connect students with employers.

Your field of study and the location where you study can greatly impact your opportunities for internships. Some majors naturally include internships, providing valuable industry exposure that can lead to job offers upon graduation. For instance, a friend of mine pursued a bachelor's in social work and secured an internship in her second year, ultimately receiving a job offer before she graduated.
Similarly, as a nursing student, I completed clinical rotations and received job offers before graduation. However, not all majors offer internships, so it's important to consult with your professors to explore the possibilities within your field and determine the additional steps needed to secure a job.

There are many ways. depending on your media type you can:
Computer: LinkedIn (start and account which is free). They have a jobs section. You can write a posting and ask. There are many job sites for both trades and all jobs such as Indeed.com. ZipRecuiter; PathtoPro (Home Depot for more of a skilled worker); PeopleReady; GetTradeJobs; etc.
Newspapers: Obviously job ads any any articles relating to carpentry, hotel builds, etc.
On-Site: Go to construction sites and ask if hiring.
Some other I hope, useful information is: Unless you have technical school experience, you will need to start as a laborer. There are some companies that train so you can move up. The starting pay is probably minimum but if you like to work with your hands and are physically motivated then this is a good job for you. You can work in all types of weather as well. The main thing is to always be watching what people are doing and learn. If you can, ask questions if you don't know what they are doing but not while they are doing it because of safety (at least with power tools and not while you are supposed to be doing something, just in your free time). Then you can move up to an apprentice and then a journey person in the area that you like if there is a trade that you are interested in.
