My husband became a phlebotomist before becoming a nurse. He was able to get the phlebotomy education as a certificate program through the local community college. Working as a phlebotomist before or during nursing school is such a good idea! You will use those skills again when you become a nurse.
I got my associates degree in nursing at local community college and then did my bachelors in nursing online at University of Texas Arlington. I would recommend that online program.
