Karen Wise’s Answer

Studying Criminal Justice is a great start. A few additional things that you can do include researching the FBI. Their website has information for students covering topics like skills, competencies, internships, etc... It would be great to also speak with your school advisor and try to identify and connect with an FBI agent who could give you insights to the career and the various types of FBI jobs. You may even uncover that there is a particular FBI Career Track that matches your interests.

Estelle’s Answer

Alexandro,
You sound like you are heading the correct path. As in any career you will need to do really well in school, high school and college. These are good degrees to go after..

Criminal Justice.
Computer Science.
Cyber Security.
Finance.
Forensic Accounting.
International Studies.
Public Safety Administration.
Psychology.

The biggest challenges I had in college was to stay focused, study and not play, have enough money to pay for school and living. Try to get scholarships and try not to go to an expensive school and rack up the school loans.
