I'm familiar with a few folks who work in medical administration, and they earn somewhere between $14 and $17 per hour. However, it's worth noting that we live in a pricier region. In our more rural areas, the pay tends to be around $5 less.
The minimum wage in my state is 15.50 an hour, but this is very valuable information considering the salary shown on Google may be unrealistically inflated. Thank you!

Hey Parker, this really depends on where you live. In my state of MO an entry-level med admin job would be between $14.50-18/hour. In California, it might be $5/hour higher than that due to cost of
living. Pay also fluctuates depending on the company. For example, one in a big hospital would usually pay more than a position in a rural clinic. You’ll have to decide which type of environment you want to work in.
