Thank you comment icon Violaine offers a very good overview of the profession. Just note that the hours may be varied. Will be varied. The days as well. This is not "nine to five". Nor are the working conditions. And then there's the specifics of the firm you would be working for. I would explore the field extensively. On the other hand, if you have something specific in mind vis a vie being a security guard then you will have to very intently research the opportunities. And, I ask myself, why not law enforcement. Why do you want to be a security guard? But that's for you to explore. Jerry Tingstad
