Hey there Angelina,
If you're dreaming about being a Veterinarian in the US, you'll need to commit to about 8 years of education. The first half of this journey, or four years, should be focused on earning a bachelor's degree. You can choose from various fields such as Pre-Med, Animal Science, Pre-Vet, Biology, or Chemistry. Remember, doing well in your studies is crucial.
Next up is applying for a Doctorate program in Veterinary Sciences. This step requires not just good grades from your bachelor's degree, but also a high score in the GRE test (or Biology GRE).
Once you've been accepted into the program, it's another four years of hard work and dedication. But at the end of it all, you'll be a fully-fledged Veterinarian. It's a long journey, but the reward is worth it!
