How do you know if you have picked the right college?
I plan on being a student athlete so I am researching a long list of colleges. I am relying heavily on the internet to narrow the list . I am looking up tuition & housing costs. I am also making sure my major is offered, the average loan debt at graduation, and 4 year graduation rate. Since I also want to play sports I contact the coaches by e-mail to express my interest and see if the team has a spot for me in the upcoming year. Once I narrow down to 3 or 4 schools I will schedule visits. Due to the major impact this choice will make on my future what other factors should I consider before I make my choice? #college-decisions

Are there "bad" colleges or programs? Yes, but the "bad" for me means not accredited, those with multiple criminal cases pending, high instructor turnover rates, etc. In my area, looking at colleges that have shut down, many are related to litigation and ethics violations, and are usually listed as "for profit".

Hellos,
First thing, we can't dedicate ourself into 2 things. If you want to become a great athlete then focus on that. It will help you to provide scholarship and also good college options.
Not the good college will make you a good athlete. Your belief and dedication will make you good or great and open the good ways for you.
Ask yourself, what is right and wrong college? You will get your answer.
Is there really any good and bad colleges? Or It depends on individual dedication?
Thank you
Best of luck.
