When interviewing, ask the candidate what their goals are for the position within the next three to six months. It gives you an idea of what the hiring manager is looking for in their candidate. Based on their answers, you can then ask follow-up questions to really dig into the position and share how you have the qualifications to get them to their 3-6 month goals.
