How would I start a business to be competitive with Gamestop?

What schooling could put me at top of game trade/buy/sell companies?
I know how I would want my company: tournaments, energy drinks, coffee, pizza (maybe), Lan party capabilities, and would buy/sell/trade video games. #business #education #video-games #games #owner

To be successful you need to identify all competitors with decent market share. Then identify how your product is different or will be marketed differently (i.e., what are the points of differentiation). Formulate a strategy for taking the competition's market share.

Susan’s Answer

Starting a business is no easy feat. The first thing you need is a really well thought out business plan, and then you will need to have a credible enough plan to convince investors to provide you with capital. Neither of those are easy tasks. In addition, even GameStop's business model may be at risk because so much is available online, consumers don't need a retail storefront. So, part 1 of your business plan should include a thoroughly researched market assessment. Good luck!
