I was wondering if theyre are any summer internships in lorain county Ohio that I could take as a sophomore in highschool, if not when can I?
I am a 16 year old white male currently in my sophomore year of highschool. I would say that I am somewhat good at math, communication, writing, and problem solving.

Being a sophomore in high school, your options for a traditional internship are limited. I think gaining experience in whatever shape of form you can is just as important and impressive as a traditional internship. Yes, you want something for your college apps but beyond that, it is all about how you communicate the experience you gained and the lessons you take away from that.
Experience can look like volunteering that relate to your passions, job shadowing local businesses or professionals for a couple days, helping/shadowing a local college professor with their research, being a camp counselor, babysitting, food delivery drive, host or bus boy at a restaurant, etc. You can put an angle on any of those to serve your purpose (babysitting has taught you effective communication skills for all ages, how to balance conflicting goals, empathy, conflict management aka how to deescalate conflict and remain calm and rational in a high stress environment).
