Pranjal’s Answer

Firstly look for internships, preferably paid. These internships will help you learn at a faster pace and will give you experience of working in real world environment. Once you have gained experience via various internships, try to have a focused path and start to work and gain experience in that field. Then try to get a internship in your dream company and if you are good and have worked properly in internship period, you might get a PPO (pre placement offer).

Pranjal recommends the following next steps:

Try to find a internship

Pranjal’s Answer

If you have interest in coding and stuff, then keep practicing for data structures and algorithms from Topcoder- https://www.topcoder.com/ or Codeforces- https://www.codeforces.com/ and this will make you eligible for most of jobs. If you want to go for some specific post then try to learn and wok on open source projects, probably on GitHub. Do a bit of research and find out how exactly can you proceed. Ask questions on Stackoverflow- https://stackoverflow.com/ and learn about stuff. For example, you can start with Kaggle- https://www.kaggle.com/ for learning and exploring data science or you can start from Free Code Camp for web development. Try to make projects that can be used in real life as well. I am trying to do same as well

Also, you can go for Technical Writing, if you have good knowledge about using/developing in a certain field and can also express yourself. There are many internship opprtunities available, try and grab them

You can also explore research opportunities, try to find about a field that interests you. Read about it in detail, dive deep into concepts, make projects, answer on Stackoverflow and read research papers by searching on Google Scholar or IEEE Xplore etc. Participate in Stanford research initiative.

Remember, try to get projects and work experience through internships, preferably paid and you will learn a lot of things.

Hope, this answer helps you.

Goitom’s Answer

The good place to start your career is with start up companies. Because start up campanys don't have many employees, so this will give you the opportunity to see how the software build from the scratch to the final stage, instead of working in a big company and work at a specificproject.
