Hi Jasminne,
In the business world, the more languages you know, the better for your resume.
If you are already fluent in Spanish, I would probably recommend to further develop your French.
Bon courage! :)

Hi!
As a French person who has graduated in the US and is having a professional career in the US as well, I can tell you that recruiters are actively looking for people who can speak multiple languages. French is part of the most sought languages. But it’s hard to learn and speak fluently though. I wouldn’t major in French, but I would definitely get a minor in French 😉

Depending on the type of work you are seeking to do in the future, learning French can be a huge asset. Lots of large multinational organizations that work to improve lives around the world require fluency in English and French to be hired, and speaking French allows you to work not only in France and Canada, but also throughout much of West Africa.

Absolutely you should hone your skills in French if you are already fluent in English and Spanish. There are very few careers that would not be enhanced by your knowledge of foreign languages. Business, law, and medicine all make use of the Spanish language frequently here in Texas. in other areas of the world, I am sure French is equally beneficial. If you know this language, you will have an advantage and job opportunities that others in your field may not.
